Massa Going Out?
He’s a very nice, likeable guy who drives with his heart, but he no longer shows the sort of performance he did before his accident in Hungary (2009). Ferrari probably has no choice but to look for another driver.
Not sure I agree with David Coulthard there that the accident slowed him down since he clearly has the speed. Maybe the car just doesn’t suit him as well as it suits Alonso? And, Ferrari have never been against employing the best driver out there and pair him up with a driver of a lower calibre – think M. Schumacher and E. Irvine.

A quick trip to Iceland

Many things have happened and days have been fast and busy yet I feel more calm than normal. Roughly a month ago I resigned from my job at Tango/04 as a Technical Writer. I don’t know the reason quite yet although I suspect it had a lot to do with the subject matter. However, only time will tell if I was happy as a technical writer at all.
Last Friday was my last day at work. The second time I left Tango and probably quite a bit harder than the last time. Although I left this time around more on my own accord rather than it being decided by circumstance it was hard to say my goodbyes. Even though I am not leaving Spain this time around I am afraid keeping touch with the guys, in my backyard compared to last time, will remain much harder.
I arrived back home after my last day and too my weekly siesta. A few hours into it (yes, yes, I know siestas are supposed to be short – but I only do one a week so it has to make up for all of it) I got a call from one of the IT guys at Air Atlanta asking if I’d be interested in participating in a two month project implementing a new system. Hesitant at first, me and Flor had a quick debate on it, and I decided to go for it. Very happy I was when I found out that it was supposed to be carried out in a big way in Iceland.
The project was planned to start at the end of March, with an expected completion date at the end of April, beginning of May. Very good. I had almost three weeks to work on my Spanish, apply for jobs in Catalunya, start learning iOS (and Mac) development and maybe, if disciplined, a bit of beach time. Air Atlanta style I got a call the day before yesterday, again from Haukur, asking me if I could come to Iceland a bit earlier. Two days later actually!
And so I did. I’m on my way to Iceland as we speak, sitting at Amsterdam Schipol airport. And I couldn’t been more exicted. Haven’t been back to the rock in the north Atlantic for a year and a half now. It will be my second time there since October 2008. Man I am going to eat a lot.

Great, the bloody bike has been stolen. There have been several days where I did not go to work using the bike for one reason or another. For a few days I didn’t since I injured myself a little bit on the bike. Other days I was lazy and took the bus instead. Other days still I couldn’t be bothered with changing trains with the bike (and the grumpy attitudes of just awakened Barcelonans). This was the case yesterday where I woke up a few minutes late and could see myself missing the direct train to work, having to switch trains in Barcelona Sants train station. So I decided to give the bike a rest for the day, enjoy the sunny beach and all that. But then, when I returned in the evening, there was no bike. Some bastard had come, cut the heavy wire that tied the bike to a column under our building. All other bikes were left untouched. Not happy.
